Fun Part-Time Tennis Coach 

​

$15 - $30 an hour - Part-time

​

This is a part-time position (M-F, 3pm - 5pm) ideal for a tennis enthusiast who is excited to give back and share their love of the great game of tennis with kids 10 and under. This instigator of fun will be a RESPONSIBLE, RELIABLE, HIGH ENERGY, self starter who loves inspiring and teaching life lessons through tennis to kids between the ages of 5-10 years old.

 

Working with HAT is easy ... we provide all ASP (after school program) coaches with all the equipment and training necessary to run kids group classes (rackets, portable nets, balls, etc) at elementary schools throughout Denver. We provide coaches with a framework of daily game plans to make planning group sessions a breeze and stress-free.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED 

  • Have played tennis at a 3.5 level or above, and/or some experience teaching tennis lessons.

  • Passionate about working with and creating a fun, supportive environment for kids ages 5-10 years old.

  • Ability to take direction and learn new things.

  • Experience creating fresh daily tennis game-plans.

  • Ability to contact and manage assistant coaches.

  • Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with members and staff.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner.

  • Ability to multi-task and learn quickly

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Thorough knowledge of the game of tennis

  • Effective teaching styles and techniques
