HAT

Young Beginner Group

HAT has been delivering FUN, conveniently located, and the highest-reviewed programs in the Denver Metro Area for kids 5-18 years old since 2009.

Join us this fall at Washington Street Community Center in the Wash Park neighborhood for beginner group classes

Class Description

Let the fun begin! This group is pure edu-tainment! Kids are smiling from ear-to-ear playing a great game (TENNIS!) with their friends, while parents can clearly see that there is a plan and education being learned from a trusted and skilled coach. This is a class designed for ages 6 - 10 years old and we use age-appropriate rackets, balls, and nets. We aim to spark the love of tennis for each student, while at the same time building a proper fundamental base.

We are following USTA recommendations and will be implementing safety measures including the following:

  • Players must STAY HOME if they are exhibiting symptoms of the coronavirus (mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough and difficulty breathing, or other symptoms identified by the CDC), or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the 14 days leading up to camp. 100% refunds or credits will be given to any players who can not attend due to illness.

  • Masks/face coverings are required to be worn by all players and staff.

  • Players should arrive no more than 10 minutes early.

  • Temperatures will be checked before class with no-touch thermometers.

  • We will have a strict limit of 6 players per class. Kids will be encouraged to maintain social distancing during class and breaks.

  • Hand sanitizers will be available and we ask that all players, staff, and parents sanitize when entering/exiting. Players will be regularly reminded to use hand sanitizers.

  • Coaches will frequently disinfect all equipment, including balls, rackets, cones, etc.

  • Signage to remind players and staff about hand washing and other hygiene techniques will be posted.

We will do everything we can to keep our students safe and healthy! Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to playing tennis with you soon!
